Sometimes during the pre – production stage of a film, if the hero dons 3 different looks for the film – there will be a confusion that whether he is doing triple roles in that film or not. We were the first to inform you that Vijay will be acting as a Police Officer too in Vijay 61.
Atlee Directed Theri film end cards leave a chance for its sequel but currently we are unable to tell whether its Theri 2 since the film is tentatively titles as Vijay 61. Even Singam 3 hero Suriya said that Vijay’s performance as a Police Officer in Theri had impressed him. Now Atlee – Vijay has again teamed up for Vijay 61 film. Vijay 61 is said to be a periodic film with scenes from 1980’s Madras.
After donning cop’s role in films such as Pokkiri, Jilla and Theri, Vijay now gets into the ‘Khakhi’ mode again for one of his roles in the film. Yes Vijay is said to be doing triple roles in Vijay 61 but anyway a Police role is also expected.
The shoot of the film commenced at the now-famous Billy Mill campus on the outskirts of Chennai.
